44 Ranch Playground

Project completed 2018

44 Ranch neighborhood has developed a Park Committee to advocate for the development of the neighborhood park, located at 2503 Riata Rd. Missoula Parks and Recreation selected the 44 Ranch Park for the location of a donated playground structure from Spectrum Aquatics that honors an employee who had passed away.

The playground structure is valued at $44,000. Missoula Parks and Recreation matched $30,000 for installation costs and fall zone material (wood chips). Missoula Parks and Recreation, The City of Missoula, and the 44 Ranch neighborhood residents are raising funds for an additional 10 items of playground equipment to give the playground a more complete play value for our children. The additional 10 items are estimated to cost about $40, 000 and an additional $10,000 is needed for installation/labor costs. Our goal is to raise $20,000 towards these costs.
