Our Programs
Missoula Outdoor Recreation & Education (MORE) Program
Sponsored: 2014 - present
MORE is a unique city-run outdoor and adventure recreation program. Our goal is to reduce barriers so all people can get outside and be active, whether with volunteer projects on our parks and trails, historic tours, family camps or rafting one of the many rivers of Western Montana. MORE has activities for everyone.
Our popular summer camp programs give youth opportunities to explore, adventure and work as a team. Our program has a strong passion for inclusion in recreation and we work to make sure that adventure is accessible to everyone regardless of age, disability, gender, or socio-economic status.
So drop in at MOBASH skate park, cast with us at SIlver’s Lagoon Fishing Pond or come give our High Ropes Course a try at Open Climb on Thursday Nights 5-8 this summer.
Whatever you do this summer remember that adventure is a state of mind and the MORE program is here to make adventure accessible!
